With the proliferation of television channels, radio channels and other media in India in the mid-nineties, there was an acute need for an ERP package for the media industry.

WESRA developed one of the first such packages that was used by some of the leading media companies of India to manage all aspects of television and motion picture creation, from production to manpower planning to media planning to creation of dope sheets for advertisements in television programs to inventory handling to accounts and so on.

This package involved the marriage of various technologies including PowerBuilder and Visual Basic as front ends, Java and C++ for communication, Oracle as a database.
